Character Conflict

I feel that Mrs. X deals with internal conflict day in and day out with herself. She seems to think that she is not as good as others, but then turns around and acts as if she is the best thing that ever happened in the world. She seems to have very poor self esteem. Ms. Y on the other hand seems to be the type of person to avoid conflict. She seems to be the "stronger" one of the two women. She let Mrs. X go on and on trying to out her down and just kept her mouth shut. Mrs. X even accused Ms. Y of having an affair with her husband, and still she just remained silent. It takes way more effort to stay silent in any situation than to run our mouth.
